Our in-depth collection of decorative objects includes glass, silver, ceramics, metalwork and porcelain spanning the 1920's to the 1950's and encompassing Art Deco and Art Moderne. We have works by Eileen Gray, Pierre Chareau, Jean Dunand, Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, Desny, Eugene Printz, Edgar Brandt, Pierre Legrain, Sue et Mare, Rene Lalique, and many other designers of the period. Our selection of 1950's Italian glass includes works by Carlo Scarpa, Venini, Bianconi, Dino Martins, Barovier, and many other Italian glass artists of that era. Most of our porcelain and ceramics are from the 1920's to the 1950's. French and Italian ceramics and porcelain are represented by Gio Ponti, Ginori, Fantoni, Mayodon, Buthaud, Metthey, and Sevres.
Design and rarity are the most important factors in determining the furniture that we purchase. Each piece must be in as close to the original condition as possible, with little or no restoration. We seek furnishings that exemplify a particular style or designer's ouvre.
The 1930's -1940's also includes such French designers as Gilbert Poillerat, Rene Prou, Marc du Plantier, Andre Arbus, Emilio Terry and Jean Royere. Representing Italian design are such notables as Carlo Mollino, Carlo Graffi, Gio Ponti, Arteluce and Piero Fornasetti.
The fine pieces shown on our site are only a fraction of what we have to offer. If you are looking for particular pieces, please get in touch with us. We are also interested in purchasing very fine individual pieces and entire collections.
