BOUCHERON, PARIS VINTAGE GOLD BRACELET
This bracelet is a perfect example of 1930's Modernist design, (see my blog on Modernist design for more about this style),with the dramatic use of positive and negative space, the massive feeling of the design, and the polished 18k gold.
It is elegant, and a great piece of Boucheron jewelry, a wear-everywhere "Contessa" bracelet, so called for its opulence and quiet suggestion of wealth. All-gold jewelry with great style and no stones is hard to find - this is fabulous, and you, too, can look like a Contessa.
From the Primavera Gallery collection of signed Estate and vintage Boucheron jewelry.
