A rare and charming articulated brooch, in Renaissance Revival style, by the famed 19th century French jewelers Auguste and Joseph Fanniere. Exquisitely made with enamel on silver, and sapphires. This brooch is from ca. 1869. Signed jewelry of this period is extremely rare.
