Description

Camille Faure was well known during the Art Deco period in France for his beautiful enameled vases. This is the only pair of sconces that we have seen by him – actually these are the only enameled sconces that we have seen at all! The colors are beautiful, and the quintessentially Art Deco wrought iron work is the perfect compliment.  Each is signed in gilt C. Faure Limoges, France. They are shown (perhaps hard to see)in the photo of the Faure stand at the Lyon Fair in 1930. 8 x 17.75 x 3.5 inches.
