JEWELRY – For over 30 years, Primavera Gallery has been known for exceptional fine jewelry by all the major jewelry houses and designers in the US and Europe. We seek out the rare and unusual, and also offer antique pieces as well as contemporary design and artist’s jewelry.
GLASS – Throughout recorded history and probably before, people have been making glass, and the possibilities have yet to be exhausted. We have wonderful examples of French Art Deco glass, Austrian and French Art Nouveau, Italian mid-century, and contemporary.
FURNITURE – Beautiful, fine and unusual furniture has always been an important part of Primavera Gallery. We have fine pieces by the foremost French, Italian and American designers from Art Deco through to Contemporary Design.
SCULPTURE – A beautiful sculpture can add so much to a home. We have an especially fine collection of work by the highly important French sculptor Pierre Auguste Janniot, who also created some of the sculptures for the exterior of Rockefeller Center in New York City.
PAINTINGS & WORKS ON PAPER – For a beautiful and distinctive interior, there must be interesting things on the walls. We have a varied selection of photography, drawings, and paintings, many by the most important artists associated with the French Art Deco movement.
CERAMICS & PORCELAIN – Ceramics and porcelain offer many beautiful choices of form, glazing, and other surface decoration. We have a beautiful selection of French ceramics by the foremost ceramicists of the Art Deco period, as well as Gio Ponto for Ginori, and wonderful pieces by the famed Sevrés. There pieces add elegance and individuality to an interior, and there are many avid ceramics and porcelain collectors.
SILVER & METAL WORK – A beautiful home requires more than just furniture. Interesting and unusual silver and metal objects are very special, as they are useful and durable, and the brightness of silver adds a lively and sophisticated element to any decor.
LIGHTING – Lighting is, obviously, essential to any home, and having interesting and stylish lighting is an important consideration in interior design. We have very interesting table and floor lamps, as well as sconces in a variety of styles and periods.
