Description
Rare and exquisite table by a great sculptor, medalist, and cabinet maker, Alexandre Charpentier, who was active in France from the late 18,00’s to the early 20th century. There are examples in the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. The table is kidney-shaped wood, with an inlaid panel in pewter with twining fish and figures, and is signed in the pewter. 18″ H x 50″ W x 39″ D.
