Description
It is unfortunate that little is known about Willy Daro, because he designed so much beautiful and original furniture and lighting during the 1950’s – 1970’s. His pieces are elegant and full of movement, and he often used agates as the dramatic focus for his pieces. Agates were in fashion during the 60’s, and highlighted the beauty of natural materials.
This lamp is a perfect example of his work. Is is a sculpture as well as a lamp.
