Volume 1 of the excellent series ESEMPI, by Roberto Aloi, published by Ulrico Hoepli in Milan in the 1950’s. The series deals with all aspects of the home, from architecture to furniture to decoration.
This volume is about seating, and shows pieces by Ico and Luisi Parisi, Carlo Mollino, Carlo Graffi, Paolo Buffa, Carlo Braga; also designers and manufacturers from other countries, among them Vladimir Kagan, Herman Miller, Charles Eames, Finn Juhl, The Scottish Furniture Manufacturers, Edward Wormley, Directional, The Council of Industrial Design, London; Harvey Probber, Marcel Gascoin, and many others.
This is the second series of this book. There are 313 illustrations, with 3 in color. Condition is generally excellent, with two minor tears to the cover.
