Description
Fritz Schleifer was a student at the Weimar Bauhaus, and also took part in the publication of Staatliches Bauhaus Weimar from 1923-1929. The title translates as “Thinking Head”, and the image is certainly one of deep thought and contemplation. It is executed in pastels, and signed and dated 1922.
