Description
There are many people who collect and wear skull jewelry. This skull is Georgian English – it probably dates from around 1800. It can be worn on a chain, and opens to reveal a a beautifully chased open-work compartment, probably intended to hold a piece of perfumed fabric (the streets didn’t smell so sweet in those days). This is a rarity. Measurement: 1.25″ x 0.75″ x 0.875″
