Description
I refer to this as a drawing because it was done using colored crayon, but it is much more than a drawing – the colors are vibrant, and the design is full of energy and movement. Gustav Sangier was a quite well-known artist. Born in Belgium in 1909, the family soon moved to Paris, where Gustav established himself as an important artist. Sangier died in 1984. For more information, see our bio on Sangier.
