Jean Schlumberger was one of the great jewelry designers of the 20th century. This striking brooch was designed by him and made by Tiffany & Co. It has all the characteristics of Schlumberger’s jewelry – his great interest in nature, the original and charming rendition of a sea horse in 18k gold and peridot, full of life and movement. This is a vintage piece, c 1960’s.
